Featured Project #1:  Pacific Woodtech Corporation - 200,000 sf Engineered Wood Products Manufacturing Facility

Location:  Burlington, Washington

Services:  Filling the role as Vice President with a Design-Build Construction Firm before joining TRICO, Bruce Berglin and the Pacific Woodtech Project is one of many examples of TRICO’s in-house capabilities.  Bruce’s Management and Leadership started at the Project Conceptual Stage and progressed to include Architecture, Engineering, Permitting and Construction of the complete Engineered Wood Manufacturing Facility.  This project incorporated Fast-Track Construction Techniques and required highly specialized foundations for precision manufacturing equipment and overhead cranes.  This Project was designed, permitted and constructed in less than a year; delivered on time and under budget with a very happy customer.

Location:  Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, Canada

Services:  Filling the role as Vice President with a Design-Build Construction Firm before joining TRICO, Bruce Berglin and the Simplot Project showcases TRICO’s in-house capabilities.  Bruce’s Management and Leadership Team started at the Project Conceptual Stage and progressed to include Architecture, Engineering, Permitting and Construction of the complete Food Processing and Cold Storage Facility.  The facility is located in Canada with some unique cultural differences, a harsh climate and other challenging conditions that adding to its complexity.  This was a Greenfield, Fast Track Project with multiple permitting and infrastructure complications that required strong leadership capabilities.  Innovative and progressive project sequencing and collaboration with local authorities, engineers, suppliers and subcontractors resulted in this successful project delivery.  The plant was opened on schedule and under budget, and is performing well for another happy customer.
